Privacy Policy

How ScholarVault protects delegate personal information, proprietary abstract submissions, and institutional data across SVRIDS 2027 operations.

1. Introduction and Scope

ScholarVault operates the SVRIDS 2027 conference website (svrids2027.scholarvault.in). This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, processing, and protection of personal data from authors, presenters, attendees, reviewers, and website visitors in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information necessary to facilitate summit registration, peer review, and delegate communications, including:

  • Identity & Contact Data: Name, academic affiliation, designation, country, email address, phone number, and professional profiles (LinkedIn, ORCID, Google Scholar).
  • Contribution Metadata: Research abstracts, manuscript drafts, startup pitch summaries, slides, and co-author/founder details.
  • Transaction Records: Payment confirmation identifiers, billing addresses, and tax invoice information. (Note: Full cardholder data is securely handled by PCI-DSS certified payment gateways and never stored on our servers).

3. Confidentiality of Research and Pitch Decks

Unpublished research abstracts and proprietary startup pitch decks submitted to SVRIDS 2027 are treated as strictly confidential. Access is restricted exclusively to designated track chairs, double-blind peer reviewers, and bound investor jury members for evaluation purposes only.

4. Virtual Session Recording & Photography

Keynote plenaries and public pitch arena sessions may be recorded for archival in the official digital proceedings and virtual delegate replay libraries. Delegates have the option to participate with video/audio muted during open breakout discussions.

5. Data Retention & Rights

We retain delegate and submission records only as long as necessary to provide published proceedings accreditation, verify certificate authenticity, and comply with statutory legal requirements. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting our Data Privacy Officer at conferences@scholarvault.in.
